Maurice Carlin is an artist based in Manchester, UK. His current work is focused on found objects and stories, anomalies, and things that are difficult to value and place. As a foundation student in 2007, he co-founded Islington Mill Art Academy, a free alternative art school. The Academy exists to experiment with what an education in art can be, where it can take place and how it can be paid for.
