Clare Wilson graduated with an MA in Fine Art from the University of Leeds and has lived and worked in London since 1997.She has exhibited her work at Stephen Lacey Gallery,The Royal College of Art aswell as in Art Futures and in Art Fairs in London and Paris.She has had residencies at The Florence Trust Studios and Ballinglen Art Foundation, Ireland.Her paintings evolve out of a process of layering, removing and pushing paint to find an inevitable form with subtle shifts of tone and a restricted palette referring to the intervals and diffused light of landscape.
